Can I get a tethered version of the Easee One?
The Easee One only comes as an untethered unit. However, you can lock your charging cable into the unit via the Easee App wich essentially turns it into a tethered unit.
How does Load Management work on an Easee One?
The Easee charge points do not have a dedicated CT Clamp for load management. Where this is required then an Easee Equaliser must be used. This is a clever wireless way for the Easee charger to monitor the household electricity load.
Can I have a second Easee charger installed?
Yes! The Easee charge point was initially designed for use in residential car parks where it’s important to share the electrical capacity between several chargers. This means Easee charge points can talk to each other to share any available power and they are one of the few charge points available that can share the same circuit. This makes installing a second Easee charger a breeze.
How does the Easee connect to the internet?
The Easee One has both an internal SIM card for 3G/4G connectivity as well as being able to connect to your home Wi-Fi.
